Separate the work items
Identify leaks or damage, roof cleaning, repainting and gutter work separately. State the suburb, roof material if known, and what you want the work to achieve. Do not climb onto a roof to obtain a measurement or photo for an initial enquiry.
Quote, inspection and written report
A quotation sets out proposed work and its price. An inspection and an independent written report can involve a different scope. Tell Allen if you need a report for a committee, property manager or another decision-maker, and clarify the arrangement before booking.
Compare like-for-like scope
Compare included preparation, repairs, materials, access arrangements, waste removal and exclusions. Ask how a change in scope would be agreed. After you send the form, Allen can discuss attendance, quotation acceptance and a suitable work date with you.
What affects the scope and price
The affected area, roof material, condition, access, preparation and extent of work can change a quotation. Describe repair, cleaning and painting needs separately, including any gutter or timber work. Confirm the inspection, attendance and reporting charges before booking; a website enquiry does not establish a fixed price.
What to send with your enquiry
Provide the suburb or postcode, what you have noticed, when it occurs and the work you are considering. Roof material is useful if known. Photos are optional and should be taken only from a safe position. Mention access constraints and any previous inspection or repair.
